Game2Learn is an ongoing project dedicated to the gain and retention of students in the computer science tract. In order to achieve this goal, we are building video games that teach introductory computer science concepts as homework tools for the professors to utilize in the classroom. We hope that by harnessing the inherant motivation in video games, we can get the students to do more homework for the courses and learn more in the process. We are also dedicated to the idea of creating more diversity in the computer science courses and, therefore, create our games with the idea towards gaining more women and minorities.
